Nestled in the picturesque village of June Lake, the oldest mountain resort town in California's Eastern Sierra, the Villager has been welcoming guests since the 1920's. We have an affordable variety of accommodations centrally located in the June Lake Village.
Walk to June Lake or Gull Lake Marina (home of the Monster Trout), restaurants, shops, and galleries. Enjoy the incredible views made famous by Ansel Adams' stunning photographs.
The Villager is an all-season resort! In winter, enjoy many snow play opportunities including cross-country skiing and snowshoeing, ice skating, ice climbing, and sledding. Strap on your skis or snowboard only one mile away at June Mountain Ski Area or take a 20 minute drive to nearby Mammoth Mountain Ski Area.
June Lake is located only 30 minutes away from the east side entrance of Yosemite National Park. It is a beautiful 2 hour scenic drive over Tioga Pass (Hwy 120) to visit Yosemite Valley. *Please be advised that Tioga Pass (Hwy 120) and also Sonora Pass (Hwy 108) are both closed in the winter season. Re-opening of the pass is subject to weather and road conditions.
During the spring, summer, and fall, fish in nearby award winning lakes and streams, hike the scenic passes, and mountain bike the trails... all under the glorious blue Sierra sky.
